Alexandra Mukovozova
(03.09.1987, Moscow, Russia)
MSc in European Urban Studies from Bauhaus University Weimar, MA from Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy), Russia.
Since 2006 worked with several architectural offices in Russia and Germany in the field of architecture and urban design. In 2012 worked as an architect and urban analyst with an architect bureau «Eller+Eller Architekten» in Düsseldorf. Among other projects, participated in a project of a multifunctional residential complex in Tjumen and a competition-winning redevelopment project of a former cargo port area in Volgograd. In 2013 interned at Project for Public Spaces in New York, USA, where actively participated in “The Heart of Community” project in Burnside Park, Providence, RI and in participatory planning process for the riverfront redevelopment in Middletown, CT.
As an artist took part in a number of exhibitions, as well as international multidisciplinary and architectural workshops in Moscow, Berlin and Duesseldorf; in 2013 co-conducted an international workshop «Le Corps et l‘Espace» organized by Berlin based artist Lisa Schmitz in association with Goethe Institut Rabat and Casamémoire in the art-center Les Anciens Abattoirs in Casablanca, Morocco. Selected as a workshop tutor for European Architecture Student Assembly (EASA) 2017 in Denmark.
Currently a freelancing designer with focus on visual communication and spatial design strategies in public space.
